The SuryaFlow philosophy stems from the way that she lives her life. It unites ancient practices with breath awareness to bring about joyful living. It encourages tapping into your natural rhythm to create harmony and balance and ultimately results in an awakening to the knowledge that we are all rays of light; unique extensions of the sun.
Randi is the founder of SuryaFlow: The Art of Sacred Movement and Co- Founder of Kula Collective. She turned to yoga to heal on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. The practice quickly evolved into a lifestyle that she honors, respects, and is delighted to share with others. Through her personal experience and practice, she has the power to make authentic connections with others and is inspired to bring it to everyone called to step on this path. She has watched her own transformation and growth and is inspired to help facilitate this healing for others.
Randi ERYT 500 has taught over 25 trainings since 2010 and has helped to establish the Mystical Yoga Farm, an experiential permaculture and yoga retreat center on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Randi continues to teach and practice wherever she is in the world. She facilitates 200hr and 300hr yoga teacher training courses and retreats in Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Peru, and Thailand. She is a certified Thai Masseuse trained in Chang Mai, Thailand. Randi facilitates with a strong energy and passion for the practice which supports her compassionate, graceful and intuitive nature. Her expertise is in art of touch and alignment. She is also well known for her creative sequencing. You will become practiced in the fine art of physical and energetic adjustment and will leave with a good understanding and in depth knowledge of the hands-on relationship between teacher and student, and the ways in which the physical and energetic bodies can be subtly aided to bring a deeper level of connection and experience to yourself.
When she is not teaching around the world, she always make her practice and education a priority for her own growth. She has studied extensively since 2009, but not limited to only yoga and Thai massage. Other healing modalities she takes interest in are Ayurveda, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Shamanism, Aromatherapy, herbalism and Energy healing. She has an innate ability to take in knowledge, experience it, and share wisdom in an authentic way.
In her free time she loves spending it with friends and family laughing, talking, playing, and mushing. She seeks out the ocean and nestles in the mountains always trying to create balance and harmony. She loves staying active whether its surfing, hiking, dancing, or stretching.
